World Rabies Day: Let’s raise awareness together

On 28 September 2020 it is World Rabies day where various industries are working together to educate people about the importance of vaccination and how this zoonotic disease can be prevented and eradicated.

The South African Veterinary Council and the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD) is collaborating with veterinary and para-veterinary associations and other bodies to raise awareness of rabies nationwide.

The purpose of the campaign is to educate the public about this disease and encourage people to vaccinate their animals. Together #RabiesEndsHere.
