Wildscapes is looking for a veterinary nurse to join our growing wildlife practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Administrative duties: stock control, scheduled drug management, permit applicaitons, asset registers, invoices and accounts management.
• Facility, equipment and asset management.
• Assist with wildlife immobilsations and monitor anaesthesia.
• Assist with planning and delivery of wildlife operations.
• Assist with after hours and emergency work.
• Oversee our animal medicine and feed shop in Acornhoek including EOM reporting and staff mangement.
• Provide mentorship and training for the WVCS internship program.

Skills required:

• Registration with the SAVC.
• Minimum two years experience in the wildlife sector.
• Good level of fitness, as working conditions can be challenging.
• Willingness to work after hours, as wildlife work can be haphazard.
• Drivers license and own transport.
• Excellent spoken and written English, Africaans will be adventageous.
• Excellent administrative and communication skills.
