The SAVC CPD provider portal allows for CPD providers to apply for online accreditation of activities presented to veterinary and para-veterinary professionals.
We wish to remind and alert you that Council resolved (15 March 2018) that accredited CPD activities would remain valid for two CPD cycles (i.e. six years), after which the provider should remove the activity from their platform or re-apply for accreditation by clearly indicating how the activity was changed.

The SAVC has resolved that, with effect from 1 July 2026, an application fee of R300 will be payable for all CPD provider applications.
To facilitate this process, an additional document upload field will be made available on the application system, enabling applicants to upload proof of payment as part of each submission process.
